Weekend Tour Schedule & Make Music Day, New London

Friday, June 20 – Sunday, June 22

The first weekend of summer is here and why not plan for a boat tour on the river to kick off the solstice! Four different tours are in the rotation this week alongside the Hop On, Hop Off Harbor Cruises.

Origins of the Mohegans will be led by a tribal member as the tour cruises north into the quiet estuary of the Thames River. The Gilded Age on the Thames will be presented by Uconn Professor, Gail MacDonald. And the African American Experience on CT Waters is in collaboration with the Hempsted Houses and hosted by a Connecticut Landmarks staff member.

Make Music New London is part of the international celebration, Make Music Day. Featuring free, community-wide performances, the annual tradition is held on the Summer Solstice as a unique way to experience music in all its many forms. Live music can be found all across the city and downtown!

Hop On, Hop Off Harbor Cruise Performer | Craig Edwards

Saturday, June 21st | 1:00-4PM

The park will be joining in on the festivities by having singer and multi-instrumentalist, Craig Edwards, on the harbor cruise loop.
