We are accepting applications for our summer internship program.
Our summer interns will be our Park Ambassadors, interacting with visitors and local residents as they navigate this new experience. Working at the three water taxi landings in Groton and New London, interns will provide information about our partner heritage sites within the Park, help with directions, take survey information, create social media content, and assist with marketing and advertising. Interns will learn first hand about tourism marketing and non-profit collaboration.
The position requires a self-starter with excellent people skills, good verbal communications skill, as well as the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and must enjoy being outdoors and active. An interest in American history is a plus. Training will be provided.
The positions are 2-3 days/week Friday – Sunday, beginning in mid-May and continuing through mid-September. This is a unpaid internship. There are six positions available.
