It is official! The park’s first site in Waterford, Connecticut is the waterfront park situated on Goshen Point with expansive views of the Long Island Sound.
Much of Harkness Memorial State Park’s historic distinction is attributed to Eolia, the former summer home of philanthropists Mary and Edward Harkness. The meticulously maintained grounds feature spectacular formal gardens, picnic areas, a rock filled sandy beach and paved walking/cycling paths.
