Want to know more about a 100-year old incident in your town? Have an elusive ancestor? Bought a house and would like to write up its history for your family?

Explore the basics of doing traditional and on-line research in a four session course:
March 20 and 27, April 3 and 10 (Wednesdays) 10 a.m. -12 noon
with Pat Schaefer, author of A Useful Friend, and Regan Miner, Associate Director of the New London County Historical Society.

Sessions are held at the Shaw Mansion located at 11 Blinman Street in New London. One session includes a field trip to City Hall and the Public Library. Classes will be held on the first floor, but the research library at the Shaw Mansion is on the second floor.

Cost is $40 for members of the New London County Historical Society, and $60 for non-members. Space very limited; pre-registration required by March 8th.
