On Thursday, October 19, 2017 Historian Damien Cregeau will present his popular program “Spies and Traitors of Connecticut during the American Revolution.” The talk begins at 7 pm at the Monument House Museum at Fort Griswold Battlefield. This lively presentation includes interesting information on why Nathan Hale failed as a spy, General Benedict Arnold’s treason, and lesser known spies from Connecticut. It also includes a fascinating look at the techniques used by spies as well as General Arnold, including invisible ink, ciphers and codes.
